Why did I convert to Islam?
- Rather, say why don't I embrace Islam, for it is the truth, and a way of life, sent down from heaven, and it is practical and logical, and it contains the answer to all questions, and it is your guide in this world, and your salvation on the Day of Judgment.
A sound mind accepts Islam because it accepts goodness and truth, but unfortunately the media distorts Islam

A sound mind certainly seeks goodness and truth but truth must be tested, not assumed. Any doctrine, whether faith based or otherwise, must be allowed to be open for scrutiny, therefore testable. Many faiths for example claim a foundation of goodness and truth.. many faiths are practical. But lots of Faith's contain logical fallacies. Naskh, or abrogation for example. If logically we assume God is consistent in character, why would he bring forth a word in which he contradicts himself?
